Parent-tot classes have been extremely popular and highly successful for 16 years.

We offer 1.75 hour play-based classes for 2s, 3s and their parent or caregiver.

The classes are designed to support and "connect the tots"  and their parents.

You will feel welcomed in a fun-filled, safe and enriching environment.

This is more than just another class! Relax and let us plan and guide your class.

Tap into our 28+ years of experience & expertise. You'll create lasting memories with your child while building community with other local families in the same stage of life.

Classes

We are renting space at 2 locations:
Glastonbury and Wethersfield

Parent-tot offers a developmentally appropriate play experience for our tots. The children are encouraged to openly explore their 'hands-on' environment. The parents guide, support and connect with them socially and emotionally while they interact and play with their new friends and teacher.

We will offer two 12-week sessions and one 10-week session in Glastonbury and three 10-week sessions in Wethersfield throughout the school calendar year.

Class time: what to expect

This theme-based program is directed and modeled by a qualified teacher with the support of the parents/

caregivers. They learn the expectations and are

encouraged to

  • participate during circle-time activities

  • follow directions

  • explore and navigate the centers

  • clean up

  • engage and share with their new friends.

Children who have participated in my classes have consistently adapted more easily to their PreK 3s class. Building their confidence, socially and emotionally, and offering a familiar classroom experience help them transition with success. Most importantly, we instill a love for learning .
